To fit domestic BFX755 branded heaters from 2005 onwards in all finishes and types. Not compatible with commercial BFX770 please refer to thermocouple AFX480 for details. Worn thermocouple will allow the pilot to light but switch off when lighting, failed thermocouple will switch off the gas control valve preventing pilot from lighting. Thermocouple is located adjacent to the ignitor spark and snakes within the burner to the rear of the gas control valve. Please check and double check the measurements are correct for your type of heater, specifically the size of gas control thread - this thermocouple will fit an 8mm type only. Returned thermocouples are subject to a £2.50 inspection test per item.
